add and subtract points
of who is behind and who is ahead.
You are lessening your attendance
of this need entirely
as you turn your attention instead
on the bringing forth of the staircase, the passageway to
your next heavenly assignment.
The use of the light right within your very midst.
Letting go of yesterday's tally method
so your Divine Self can be inherited instead.
