Hallelujah! Another day has risen, and to another day you rise, and as you wake up to the common world, you raise your body. You may rub your eyes, but you get up. The same way, lift up your heart. You may have to lift it. You may have to cheer it. Encourage your still sleeping heart.
A great gift is before you. You do not know what it is, but you can ready your heart for it. Wake up your heart with love. Stir your heart to the day, this unwritten slate of day that is yours to write on. This is a huge clear slate never ever used before, and it is all for you. Never mind a fine-tipped pen. Take a big crayon in whichever color you like and scrawl yourself across the day.
You are the crayon of the day.
You are getting ready for a great visitor, this new day, who will bestow blessing after blessing upon you. The day is not your servant. It is a great dignitary. It heaps treasures before you. It gives you air and sun and temperature. It lays carpet under your feet. It bequeaths food for your table, and companionship. All manner of beings rise to the livelong day with you, and you become a bequeather to them as well.
The day rolls itself out for you, and you roll it out for others who also roll it out for you. Your elbows do not have to touch in order for your hearts to.
This is an untrodden path before you, and today you trod it. You are walking on fresh snow, making footprints where there were none. You do not have to tread carefully. All you have to do is to tread joyfully. Let there be a hop, skip, and jump in your heart. Give your heart to this innocent day that is before you. You are before it as well.
Once upon a time, you didn't comprehend all that you do now. Now life is different for you. Now you know you are instrumental and that this day, this simple day, is significant. It matters very much. How you move around in this today may tip the scale. You are a diviner of the world today. You are laying life out and spreading it around. Your influence is great. Today be the influencer and less of the influenced. You have a soul. You are far more than a reactor to whatever comes along. You are a mover of the universe. You are incredible power. Offer yourself to the day and make it mighty.
What life comes down to is today.
You feel you have wasted many a day when you perhaps did not use the occasion of it to your liking. But today you are a warrior of love, and you bite into the day, and you make it good. Your passage over this day is worthwhile. You roll your life into this day. You send yourself out to cast love upon it. You are a reminder of God's love, and so, you remind yourself of Whom this day is for.
You have thought I offer you this day. And now you discover that you are the one who offers it to Me.
I have given you today as a knapsack to fill on your journey. What treasures will you slip into the knapsack on this day before you?
Now I will tell you that there is a hole in the knapsack I gave you, and whatever you drop into it, you will leave as a trail behind.
