You are on automatic with Me. When you are conscious of Me, you are noticing what is seamlessly going on. When you feel My love, you are feeling what is always yours. There is never a gap in My love. There are huge gaps in your awareness, however.
I am like a radio program that is being continuously presented. It's on whether you have turned the dial to it or not. The program is independent of your ear. The program is aired for you, but when you listen is up to you.
The difference between the 24-hour radio show and My love for you is that, whether you are tuned in or not, My beaming is reaching you nevertheless. It just is not reaching your awareness.
You have some questions about your attention on Me. You are aware that you cannot live life on earth and be thinking exclusively of Me. You are on earth, and you have other things to do. You have to eat and sleep and tend to a multitude of things. You cannot be thinking of Me at the same time you are adding up a column or giving a speech on surgical procedure.
Think of love as often as you can, and you will have awareness of Me.
Relish your life, and you will have awareness of Me.
A platform of joy and awareness of Me come from the same tree.
A time will come when I will totally be in your awareness. You will have absorbed Me totally. Your meddlesome ego will have left you. And you will have nothing but awareness of Me. Then you will know that your attention on other matters is My attention passing through you. Then My thoughts are yours. My way of seeing is yours. Total Oneness, so One there is nothing else and nothing to compare Oneness to. There will be nothing else but Oneness in its full glory.
Right now you hesitate to let go of your ego. So long as you think ego is your identity, of course you don't want to let go of it because you want to exist. Even as smallness, you would rather exist than not exist. The day will come when you will recognize that ego is nothing more than a tiny postage stamp affixed pitifully to the vastness of you. Cross-eyed, you peered at the tiny stamp and forgot about the great wholeness of you.
The time will come when you will not be able to forget who you are because you will have forgotten the little thing you thought you were. You will have stepped from that shallow platform to one which gives you great vision and sustenance.
When you stand at the top of a mountain, you see a far greater horizon than can be seen when you stand at the bottom of the mountain. When you stand at the top, you see all there is to see, and you see the wonder of who you are and no longer have to look for it because you are established in it. And so you stand on the platform of great height and everything you see is transformed.
It is not that you are transformed. It's just that you will have left littleness behind. No room for it remains, and so you feel a transformation of yourself and the world.
I welcome you now. Now it is only left for you to welcome yourself which is to say to recognize Me. You will notice that there is nothing else to recognize, for only Oneness exists.
